Definition of Non-Woven

A sheet, web, or batt of natural and/or man-made fibers or filaments, excluding paper, that have not been converted into yarns, and that are bonded to each other by any of several means.
A manufactured sheet, web, or batt of directionally or randomly oriented fibers, bonded by friction, and/or cohesion and/or adhesion, excluding paper and products which are woven, knitted, tufted, stitch bonded incorporating bonding yarns or filaments, or felted by wet-milling whether or not additionally needled. The fibers may be of natural or man-made origin. They may be staple or continuous filaments

Usual cloth is woven by the loom. On the other hand, Non-Woven cloth literally means "the cloth not to weave". For example, the fibers are accumulated equally and made by bonding continuously. The way of bonding includes two types, mechanical and chemical. Compared with the woven cloth, Non-Woven cloth can be produced easily.
